Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage them in your App Store account settings.

Questions

Is Punch Clock free?
Yes. The time clock with live earnings for your hourly rate, one job, the Lock Screen and widgets, the Weekly Pay Summary, text and CSV timesheets, backups and the Mac menu bar clock are free. Pro adds overtime, breaks, rounding and pay periods, unlimited jobs with per-job rates, PDF and Excel timesheets, invoice PDFs, iCloud sync and your full history.
How is overtime calculated?
With Pro, you set overtime after a number of hours a day, a week, or both, and the multiplier (1.5× by default). Daily overtime is counted first, then weekly overtime on the regular hours left, so no hour is paid as overtime twice. The overtime calculator on this site works the same way.
What if I forget to clock out?
You get a reminder after 10 hours (change the threshold or turn it off), and a Fix shift sheet asks for the real end time next time you open the app. Nothing changes until you choose.
Can I get my data out?
Always. CSV and text timesheets and a full JSON export are free, and a backup is written every day. PDF and Excel timesheets are part of Pro.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. The Mac app is free and puts a time clock in the menu bar. With Pro, iCloud keeps the Mac and iPhone in sync.
Does it track my location?
Not on iPhone, iPad or Mac: there is no account, and the app never asks for your location. On Android, the optional Pro workplace reminder, if you turn it on, uses your phone's location services to notice when you arrive at or leave the one place you saved. Your location is never sent to us.
